IBPS 2014 SO Scale 2 Held on 8th Feb 2014 Exam Paper Review
I attended ibps so it scale 2 xm on 8th Feb 2014.
It consisted of arithematics(50marks-50ques), reasoning(50m-50q), English (525m-50q)and professional knowledge(75m-50q).
arithematics, reasoning & eng were same as the standard for ibps po xm.
prof.knowledge for IT-scale 2 section was very tough & most of the questions were from db warehousing, s/w life cycles, data mining & very few from web technologies, bdms, etc…this section was set in such a way dat no professional in one domain can answer not more dan 10-15 ques perfectly. compared to previous years papers, this time the exam was very time consuming.
According to me, not more dan 30 questions can be answered correctly & perfectly in each section.
The data interpretation part was very easy & full of basic calculations, which took lot of time to convert & calculate.
Reasoning was also the same full of stmts & assumptions, stmts & conclusions, no diagrammatic (non-verbal) questions were asked.
English was very easy but is not a scoring section.
I think this time for ibps so IT scale 2, the cut-off would be very low…maybe 85-100 for gen…as the time constraint played a vital role & almost all of us who attended this exam couldn’t make a best figure of answering more than 110-120 questions confidently.

More r less right in your analysis.
ReplyDeleteProfessional knowledge not really checking your working experience or Technical expertise.
There is no questions on Data structure, OS,OOPS Concepts and Database(DBMS).
2 to 3 on computer Networks (CN).
This is more of a guessing questions not technical questions.
