2014 VRO Exam Experience Shared by Participant | Review about 2014 village revenue officer (VRO) 2-2-2014 Exam Paper

Hi friends, this is Mounika Rao from hyderabad.Today I have attended VRO exam. Here is my review.

As we all expected, the paper was very very easy. Almost similar to the last year's paper. No twisted questions. Almost all are direct questions. It seemed that the people who set the paper were directly taken the questions from any current affairs book without even changing them. May be I expected too much :). Ofcourse I did well, but don't have any hopes of getting in. Because I did 2 3 silly mistakes, and thats enough to ruin my chances. As far as I know, the cut off will be very very high and I don't think I can reach it being a general candidate. Ok, lets have a look at the sectional wise review.

General Studies : In general studies i feel the questions are very easy. All of them are basic expected questions. There are 60 questions from general studies, obviously most of the questions were based on Andhra Pradesh like Legiislative speaker of AP, where is AP paper mill located, longest rivers,Father of Andhra Renaissance, about awards, vitamins.. etc.we can easily score 50+.

Quant : It was the easiest section fr me. Because I've been appearing fr bank exams from last 6 months. In quant they asked the basic problems of averages, pipes, simple and compound interest, even numbers, Selling price & cost price ,problems on trains , and ages.

Reasoning : Same as above. Easier. The questions asked were Missing numbers, odd number out, letter series, questions on days.

My Analysis and Suggestions : Focuss guys.... focuss.. Most of the people in my exam center were repenting coz they were not performed upto expectations. "I know all the answers, but I couldnt remind some on time" a girl sat besides me exclaimed (she wrote the same exam last time too... bt lost in a few marks). So guys, don't neglect anything. I'm stressing this point because in the next couple of weeks most of us are going to write the panchayat secretaries exam.

Don't read too much so that you forget everything. Take some time to revise the concepts you read. Other wise you will end up questioning yourself "This or that??? That or this??". Even a single mark counts. Keep in mind that the people who are preparing for groups have also applying for these types of exams. So you really hve to work hard to beat them. All the Best. So prepare well and try to avoid confusion at the time of exam. Share your reviews too, so that others will be benefited. All the Best to all :)
