As usually, IBA playing with the sentiments of Bankers. After calling off the strike on 21st & 22nd January 2014, Today i.e., 27.01.2014, IBA called for talks to proceed with 10th Bipartite Settlement which is due since 01.11.2012. In the today's meeting i.e., on 27th January 2014, IBA Offered 0.5% increase over the previous 9.5% offer. This is not at an acceptable move by IBA. Even though no date was mentioned for next round of talks, UFBU called for strike on 10th & 11th February 2014.
First of all, It was a bad move by UFBU to call off the strike on 20 & 21 Jan 2014. If we have participated in strike as per prior call by UFBU, this mere increase would not have happened. So, at least now, we have to participate in strike on 10th & 11th February 2014. I will post the gross salaries as per the 10% increase tonight. Post views in comments section.

ReplyDeleteSIR, IT IS PITY THAT OUR UFBU LEADERS ASKING FOR 30% INCREASE ON 14/01/2014 AND ACCEPTING 9.5% INCREASE (ON PAYSLIP COMPONENTS ) ON 17/01/2014. NOBODY HAS CLARIFIED WHAT "PAYSLIP" IS. AS MR. RAJAN SAID, WE ARE READY FOR NEW UNIONS/ASSOCIATIONS LIKE AAP. FIRST OF ALL, WE SHOULD FIND OUT A WAY TO STALL THIS NEGOTIATION BY BRINGING PIL IN SUPREME COURT RESTRAINING IBA AND UFBU FOR SIGNING A SETTLEMENT FOR INCREASE OF 9.5%.

Meaning less talks with IBA
ReplyDeleteIBA and UFBU people simply playing drama with bank employees, to achieve their self interest unnecessarly dealying the things. it is foolishness to calloff strike on 20th and 21st simply to kill the time IBA is making 5 to 9.5 now to 10 %. It is better to settle directly with government
ovt pensioners are having the pension updation in every Pay Commission. Then why not the Bank staff.

ReplyDeleteyou have to press your union leader in branch level and district level to protest the IBA lower offer. You also participate in Dharna and demonstration full participate and success the strike 10th and 11th

ReplyDeleteWhy dont we people understand tha at higher level ufbu ani iba are same. The whole drama of ufbu and iba was to stop jan's strike. All of them are making fool of bank employees
ReplyDeleteacc to sources settlement will be done around 12.5%+- .5%.Main prob is our union is not capable to take their stand.If they would have calld for indififnte strike iba wud hv left wid no other option than accepting our demands.Our ledears are sumwhere disintrested.
ReplyDelete10% salary hike is not gonna make any big difference in any way.Max increase we will get in hand salary is 1500-2000.That is not satisfactory
