Hi, I would like to share my Interview Experience with you. It is my First Interview Experience with IBPS.

By 02.45 p.m. My certificate verification was completed. Some of the candidates were rejected as many candidates were not having their degree along with their mark sheets.(Especially those candidates who were B. Tech, DEGREE IS VERY IMPORTANT)
Then my interview came at 3:30 p.m. The staff of BOB were very supportive and were raising our confidence every moment.
Then As usual I knock the door and asked “may I come in sir”…
There were 4 members in the panel (ALL WERE MALES)
Interviewers m1,m2,m3,m4- Yes come In(I entered the room by saying “good after noon sir”).
M1- he saw me from top to bottom (as I was wearing a business suit) he greeted me very well and gave me a complement “Ms. Vijita you are dressed very well n luking very smart as if u r cuming for an executive meeting.. (everybody laughed and I smiled and & replied )
Me-“thank you sir”.
M1- ok.. Ms. Vijita how much %age u scored in 10 n 12?
Me-“sir in class 10 I scored 70% marks n in 12th I scored 76% marks.”
M1- he said- “good”
M2-You are B.tech ?
Me-“Yes sir.. From Information Technology(IT) branch”.
M2-What is the name your father n what he does?
Me-“Sir. My father name is Mr. V.N. Srivastava n he is Deputy manager in Sahara India.”
M2-ok. Do u know who is the foreign minister of India?
Me-:”Yes sir.” Mr. salman khurshid
M2-Yes correct.. (then he started rapid fire)
Who is the lok sabha speaker
Me- Mrs. Meira kumar
M2- who is the speaker in rajya sabha?
Me- mr. Hamid ansari (our vice-president of India)
M2- good. Then who is deputy speaker?
Me- Mr.P.J. Kurein
M3- do u know the name of the prime minister of Pakistan who was shot dead in its own office?
Me-I replied.. “yes sir.. Lt. Mrs. Benazeer Bhutto (as no other PM was shot dead in Pakistan yet)
M1-Please tell me the functions of NABARD
Me- “I got blank for a moment I don’t know how as it slipped out of my mind then I said “ sir can u give me 1 min to recall my self?”
M1- yes..!! ofcourse u have the time n u can have the tym as much u required..
Me- then I thought for a moment n replied.. “ sir NABARD is an institution which finances agriculture n rural sectors by assisting RRB’s and provide credit both short term n long term..” (HE LOOKED CONVINCED)

M3-Do u know who r agricultural labourers in technical terms?”
Me-I said “sorry sir I have no idea”
M1-Apart from banks regular activities what will they do?
Me-Funds Trasfer,Locker Facility,Bancassurance.
M1-what is Bancassurance?
Me-selling of Insurance products through bank (bank act as brokers).
M2-What is RAM?
ME- RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY
M2- If u want to increase the speed of RAM what will u do?
Me- sir we will use cache memory
M2- motherboard is hardware or a s/w?
Me- sir it is a hardware.
M2- can u tell me the basic diff b/w h/w n s/w?
Me- sir. Hardware u can see n touch and have a lifespan like- keyboard, mouse etc. but s/w is virtual u can see but cannot touch and there is no such issue of lifespan like ms-word, antivirus ,DB
Etc.
M3- have u heard about Indira noori?
Me-sorry sir I have heard her name but I am not aware of that.
M3-U have an experience of 1 yr.. as u r 2012 passed out. Then u have left ur job recently. Why?
Me-sir, because private jobs are very much tedious and less reliable whereas, govt job such as banking is very intense and flexible. More over we can devote a gud balance of tym to our family n work that’s why I left the job so as to prepare myself for the govt. services.
M3-ok.. gud.
Me-“thank u sir..
M3-ok.. Vijita thank u very much beta.. now u may leave now…
Finally they all said (all the very best)
Me-thank you very much sir. Have a nice day. (then I left very quietly from the room)

All the panel members were very friendly. They are making us to feel comfortable.
The interview lasted about 8-10 mins. And the 4th member of the panel havn’t asked any questions he was just sitting and monitoring my body language and the way I was speaking.
