2014 IBPS PO 3 Interview Review

Hai Friends, This is Sunil Kumar. I had my interview on 3rd January 2014 at Andhra bank, Koti, Hyderabad by panel II at 1 p.m. Here is my Interview Experience.

As usual 4 members in the panel. All men.

They allowed us into the bank after 1pm then certificate verification. Then I was placed at 5th place for interview.

I entered the room by asking permission & given warm greetings to everyone.
M1: Asked to sit down.

ME: I thanked them & had my seat.

M1 : So. sunil where are you from.

Me: KURNOOL sir.

M1: Engineering which stream?

Me: MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SIR.

M2: What's your score in PO?

Me: It's 84 sir.

M3: Good score, Did you joined any coaching institute.

Me: Yes sir.

M3: Is it SRI GURU RAGHAVENDRA of Nandyal?

Me; No sir, I'm from SRI SAI KRISHNA BANK COACHING CENTRE, kurnool.

M1: ok, Where you completed your Engineering?

Me: G. PULLA REDDY ENGINEERING COLLEGE sir.

M1: Ho, Kurnool is also famous for those sweets na?

Me: Yes sir.

M1: Do you like those sweets?

Me: I LOVE THEM SIR.

M1: So, passed out in 2012 let's ask you some techniqual question.

M1: Can you explain RENEWABLE ENEGRY?

Me: I told in techniqual terms but M1 asked to don't use techniqual
terms just go with simple words.

Me: The source which can be reused.

M1: some examples?

Me : Wind energy, solar energy, tidal energy etc..,

M2: Why banking Sunil?

Me: In my 3-2 semester of b.tech i evaluated my opportunities & seen banking sector lack of man power within 5years & at that time my % was just 50% so I wanted to become a banker Yet by god grace & my efforts i have been placed in my core field but i resigned my job & i have been preparing for banks only.

M1: What is your father?

M1: what is your mother?

M1: any siblings what are they?

M3: So, sunil why did you chosen mechanical engineering what interest made you to choose MECHANICAL?

Me: I'm fond of ROBOTICS SIR so i wanted to jump in MECH.

M1: What's the highest score in IBPS PO ?

Me : As of by SRI GURU RAGHAVENDRA WEBSITE it is 106 sir.

M1: In s.c's what the highest.

Me: 87 sir.

M2: so, in your institute what are the highest scores??

Me: 87, 85, 84 sir.

M1: Total all over India what is the highest score???

Me: Sorry sir don't have that data but as of in comments of gr8ambitionz website it seems 117 sir....,

M1: Do you want us to ask you anything about BANKING?

Me: Your wish sir.

M1: what is liquidity?

Me: replied

M2: who is the regulator of banks?

Me: RBI

M2: Functions of RBI?

Me: Replied.

M2: Do you have bank a/c?

Me: yes sir.

M2: in which bank?

Me: Andhra bank sir.

M2: which type of account?

Me: Savings account sir.

M2: How much of interest they are giving to you?

Me: Sorry sir, i never used that a/c & i dont know about the current saving rates sir.

M2: What type of Demand Loans are introduced by Andhra bank?

Me: No idea sir.

M4: do you know about SHG? EXPLAIN IT.

Me: Replied

M4: Is your mother any member in SHG?

Me: As of my dad is a govt. employee she is not eligible to be a SHG member.

M4: GOOD.

M1,M2: OKAY SUNIL NOTHING MORE TO ASK. THANK YOU & ALL THE BEST.

Me: Thank you sir.

walked to the door confidently. opened & closed without making much of sound.

MY INTERVIEW WAS NOT LIKE OTHERS' BECAUSE THIS WAS A RAPID FIRE ROUND
FOR ME. THEY ASKED THE QUESTIONS VERY QUICKLY.

My Suggestions :

CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR PHOTO ID DETAILS IF YOUR PHOTO ID HAS WRONG DATE OF
BIRTH THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING TO INTERVIEW. BE CAUTIOUS & TAKE 3 TO 4 ID
PROOF'S else one with right information.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO A.P FRD'S :
They are also accepting OUR STATE's MEESEVA CASTE CERTIFICATE ALSO so need not to worry about it.

Certificates to carry (at our center they asked only these certificates):
1. APPLICATION PRINT OUT
2. CALL LETTER FOR INTERVIEW
3. PHOTO ID PROOF
4. 10th, 12th marks sheets no need of conduct or tc's.
5. Convocation of DEGREE no need of provisional, or individual semseter wise marks .
6. CONSOLIDATED MARKS SHEET.
7. CASTE CERTIFICATE.
