2014 IBPS PO 3 Interview Experiences of Real Candidate

QUALIFICATION- B TECH (EC)
Venue- BOI SEC-62 NOIDA
SCORE- 81 (GENERAL)
PANEL- 8
TIME- 12-01-14(8.15 AM)

Starting with my the document verification process it was as usual as i was expecting.. It was around 10.15 when i moved to outside the room and finally my turn came.

I gently opened the door and asked the permission to come inside..
There were 4 members in the room.M1,M2,M3,M4(M4 SARDARJI ALSO THE SILENT OBSERVER HE DID NOT SPEAK DURING THE WHOLE INTERVIEW)
They all replied together and said,yes Mr.Ravi please come in.
I felt little bit relaxed from their response and moved inside the room.

ME-GOOD MORNING TO ALL OF U SIRS.
M2(THE SENIOR MOST MEMBER OF PANEL)-GOOD MORNING AND HAVE A SEAT.
M2- Achha to aap Ravi hain..!
ME-ji sir.
M2-to ravi ke kuch prayayvachi batao.
ME-i was not expecting this as the first question,and also i did not know the answer so i said-Sir mujhe ek hi pata hai.
M2-kya hai?
me-sun
M2-sun ki hamari life me kya importance hai?
ME-bata dia.
M2-sun se kaunsa vitamin milta hai?
ME-vitamin-D
M2-apne 1 revolution ke liye sun kitna time leta hai?
ME-i was confused in the answer so i told them 365 days
M2-exactly itna hi time hota hai?
ME-sir 1/4 day extra leta hai.
M2-earth ki orbit kaisi hoti hai?aur vo M1 se kahne laga shayad circular hoti hai(MAY BE HE WAS TRYING TO CONFUSE ME)
ME-nahi sir..elliptical hoti hai.
M2-ok.ye batao earth ki nearest satellite kaunsa hai?
ME-(i was like ye sab kya puch rahe hai..aise lag raha tha koi gk ka quiz chal raha ho) >:(
thoda sochte hue bataya "moon"
M2-kitna time leta hai moon ek revolution poora karne me?
ME-bata dia.
and finally M2 finishes.

M3-current financial world me kya chal raha hai?
ME-bata dia(rbi panel ke baare me aur economic slowdown bata dia.
M3-achha ye batao mahangai kyu badh rahi hai(inflation)?
ME-sir,market me money supply jyada ho jati hai to logo ke purchasing power badh jati hai jisse cheejo ke daam bhi badh jate hain.
M3-achha agar logo ke Paas agar paise jyada aa jae to usse banks ko kya benifit hai?
ME-(VERY EASY)Sir banks ke deposits badh jaenge.
M3-achha maan lo bank ke paas achanak 10000 crore aa jate hain to bank itne bade amount ka kya karega?
ME-sir, is amount ka kuch part reserve rakhega aur baki amount ko invest kar dega.
M3-is reserve rakhne ka koi criteria hota hai?
ME-i did not know at that time what he was trying to ask(CRR) so i said iske baare me mujhe nhi pata hai..
M3-nahi aise nhi ho sakta ye to 60-70 vaalo ko bhi pata hai to tumhe bhi pata hoga.
(now i was surprised but still i did not get what he was asking i was still thinking then he asked)
M3-achha CRR to padh ke aaye hoge vo batao?
ME-i was like kya yaar itna aasan puch rahe the..phir maine bata dia.
M3-SLR kya hoti hai?
ME-bata dia.

it was M1 turn now.
M1-ye batao bank ke asset aur liablity products kya hote hain..
ME-again i was confused.. :-\
M1-ok,tell me difference between demand and time deposits.
ME-bata dia.
M1-time deposit kya hote hain?
ME-bata dia.
M1-aapka score kya hai?
ME-81
again M3 interuppted saying aap 2012 pass out ho ab tak kya kiya?
ME-it was a easy ques. bata dia BANKS EXAMS KI preparation kar rha hun.
M3-kaise tayari kari?
ME-sir,internet se books se aur thoda family se bhi support milta raha.
M3-family me koi bank me kaam karta hai kya?
ME-apne uncle ke baare me bata dia.
M3-bank me kyu aana chahte ho?
ME-bata dia.
M3-Aapke papa kya karte hain?
ME-bata dia.

Then again M1 asked..
M1-clerk dia hai is baar ka?
ME-haan sir .
M1-kya score hai?
ME-bata dia(139).
Now he was satisfied.
AGAIN M2 STARTED.

M2-accha indian economy me latest kya chal raha hai?
ME-bata dia(CAD uar growth bhi kam ho rhi hai..)
M2-agar is baar aapka selection nahi hua to kya karoge? :o :o
ME-(i was SHOCKED like ye kya puch rha hai) thoda ruk kar bola
Sir main apni preparation karta rahunga.

Finally it was over from their side and they said
OK RAVI..ALL THE BEST AND thank you.
me-thank u very much sirs.

I slightly moved outside the room.

I KNEW I COULD DO BETTER THAN THAT SINCE IT WAS MORE OR LESS A HEALTHY CONVERSATION RATHAR THAN AN INTERVIEW BUT STILL IT TRIED MY BEST.
TOTAL INTERVIEW WAS IN HINDI AND LASTED AROUND 10-15 MINS.
