2014 IBPS Probiationary Officer 3 Interview Experiences
Dear friends,
Hereby I am sharing my Interview experience thereby considering that my inputs will help you all in giving you an idea as to how to go along with it.:) So,here it goes:
Our documents got checked by 3:30 ,we were asked to go on the top floor and wait for our turn to come... Important docs would include:
1) 10-12 DMC
2) DOB proof(Mine was 10th proof : where DOB is mentioned in words, mind it friends that taking 10th/12th DMC doesn't mean a DOB proof (your document should clearly mention it,right? :)
3) All the semesters Mark sheet(Graduation and Masters, wherever applicable)
4) Call letter for the interview and your application form.
5) If you have Masters degree, even if you didn't mention about it in the form, you should take the semesters DMC along, they'll mention it :)
6) PAN Card copy ( Identity proof)(Mine)
All the above document should be self attested and in original + photocopied form :)
My turn came at 7..So,here it goes.(Patience is essential, don't be restless and yes, kindly don't keep on studying till the end, your mind will drain)
1) Greeting : When I entered the room I said Good evening sir, looking at everybody in the interview panel with a smile! (It costs nothing guys, yaa? :) ) So,keep a smile on your face..:)
2) Sitting : Don't drag your chair guys while sitting and if you do so,it will indicate your lack of etiquette..
3) Gratitude : Whenever you are asked to sit say Thank you, kuch log bhool jaate hain tension mein,
4) Language : Now,let me tell you this guys,I didn't stick to English,i opted for the language in which I could explain them better,so precisely I used Hinglish thereof.
5) Now the set of questions : So,friends I am trying to give you the set of questions I am able to recall at this point of time :)
1) DICGC? Role?
2) WHO?Role?
3) WTO?Role?
4) Credit?
5) Score in the exam?
6) Capital market regulator?
7) Bank regulator?
8) BMB? Current CMD?
9) Why BMB?
10) Difference b/w Cheque and Draft
11) Difference b/w Pvt and Public ltd. companies...
12) Inflation? How do we control it?
13) One question I couldn't answer it started form "M or something".never heard of it..
2-3 questions I am unable to recall..Hope the above material help you all in performing well:)
And yes friends, few pointers I would like to stress upon right? :) :P
If you show tension on your face = You'll be more tensed , Tension = Bad performance... So, who wants a bad performance right guys? :)
And yes, smile and fell free to speak in front of them :)
Be cool and well versed with Banking, they can ask anything.
A few students were asked General things like Ministers, current news so woh bhi karlena :)
Special mention for the B. Tech people : Since you guys are the majority lot this time, prepare this question well: Why Banking after B.Tech, and as per your area of specialisation how can you relate it with banking, don't mug up things just take ideas from fellow mates,be creative and natural though, yaa? :)
Even if you don't know and answer don't feel shy in saying, Sory sir I have no idea about it,woh tumhe khaa nahin jaayenge :D Paper mein bhi sab questions nahin aate hain hamein, right?
So, I would like to end it with a quote by Mr. Abraham Lincoln:
" Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be" :)
Keep learning:) Stay calm and confident :)
Good luck @ everybody :)
Respect every one and Keep Smiling:)
Jai Hind :)
