UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission) CDS-I ( Combined Defense Service ) Exam Held On 9th February 2014 (9-2-2014) Review
Hi friends, This is Mounika Rao. Today (9th February 2014) I have attended CDS I exam from Hyderabad. As we know UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission) conducts CDS ( Combined Defense Service ) exam twice a year in the month of February and November.
Here is My Review :
The English paper was quite simple similar to last year paper.The GK paper was very tough. Faced difficulty in attempting the questions.Last year I attempted the same exam . Compared to last year this the paper was very tough. The questions are most in depth question. Very few questions on Current Affairs .

• Synonyms and Antonyms
• Comprehension Reading around 4 passages
• Ordering of words in a sentence
• Spotting Errors
• Sentence Improvement
• Selecting words around 2sections
• Ordering of Sentences
The English paper was quite easy .The paper was quite lengthy.
General Knowledge
In one word the paper was tough. For a second I though Am I Writing Civils prelims paper :P or CDS ( Combined Defense Service ) Exam. Most of the questions are based on history, geography and Economy...
