IBPS Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) Online Exam 2013 Notification is released. Common Written Examination for RRBs (RRBs - CWE 2) for recruitment of Group-“A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group-"B"-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in September/ October 2013.
62 RRBs are participating in this recruitment. As per the procedure for recruitment, individuals who aspire to join any of the above Regional Rural Banks either as an Officer (Scale-I, II & III) or as an Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will necessarily be required to qualify through the CWE. Scores of RRBs-CWE-II may also be used by co-op banks and other organizations for their recruitment.
Successful candidates in the CWE who meet with the stipulated eligibility criteria will then be required to apply to any RRB as and when that individual RRB issues advertisement for interviews. So, there is no common interview for RRBs.
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post applied for.
Age (As on 01-07-2013):
For Officer Scale- III- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1973 and later than 30.06.1992 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II - Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1981 and later than 30.06.1992 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I- Above 18 years - Below 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1985 and later than 30.06.1995 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1985 and later than 01.07.1995 (both dates inclusive)

Now, can I apply and write exam in Karnataka though I don't know Kannada. Is there any option like I appear for exam in Karnataka but they consider the regional languages which are known by me and give me posting accordingly?

12th class is not a degree. if u have completed graduation in any discipline, then only u r eligible.

date of passing on certificate should be on or before 01.07.2013. ask ur seniors regarding the date. if it is before that date, u can apply. otherwise u will be rejected.

u can apply for scale it officer in specialist officer exam. u have to resign from current job before joining the bank. u have to obtain no objection certificate at the time interview.

I applied for IBPS Exam ( Post CWE PO/MT-III ) 2013 and paid the Fee through PNB , 0n 07-8-2013 ). But d msg of d confirmation of payment not yet received .

Is it necessary before applying the exam centre a candidate should have the knowlwdge of local language of that particular state. for eg: if i apply for mumbai then it is mandatory to have knowledge of there local language.

ReplyDeleteIs experience certificate showing 1 year is asked in exam hall? or during interview? Because I've worked in IT for an year but I don't have experience certificate(issued after 2 years only).
I have applied for rrb officer scale 2 special officer .
Is experience certificate mandatory? I do have certificate of .NET.
