IBPS PO 2013 online registration of applications has already begun. Some candidates asking me to help them to give preferences of participating banks. So, i have decided to post the list of preferences of my choice. I would have given the preferences, if i am going to apply for the exam now. This is purely based on my experiences and my friends experiences with these banks. I dint look at any financial strength of the bank or Net profits of the bank.

7. IDBI Bank (Tough policies but good organisation)

9. Central Bank of India (CBI)
10. Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC)
11. Andhra Bank
12. Indian Bank
13. Indian Overseas Bank (IOB)
14. UCO Bank
15. Allahabad Bank
16. Bank of Maharastra
17. Dena Bank
18. United Bank of India
19. Punjab & Sind Bank
20. Vijaya Bank
This list of IBPS PO 2013 Bank preferences list is as per my own interest and belief and experiences. I wont recommend you to blindly follow this list. You have to know several things.
Important:- If any one the participating bank is having more number of branches in your state, you have to give it 1st preference because you can stay in your own state. The chances of posting out of state will less. So, consider this point before finalising your own bank preferences list for IBPS PO Exam 2013.

ReplyDeletebank of maharastra is not a bad bank. but compare to other banks, it ranks low. any bank is good to work. rankings are depending upon reputation and work experiences. it is a comparative study. so, someone should rank low. if u get job in BOM, it is not bad job at all. cadre and ur performance only matters when u join the bank. it is applicable to any other bank. even if u join top ranked bank, if the coworkers are not cooperative or u r not efficient worker, it wont be a good bank for u. if u get chance go for any bank. bank ranks didn't matter. that's all.

ReplyDeletelast year as per my knowledge the total vacancies was about 22000, but Panjab national bank had only about 350 seat.
so please provide information if any u have.

ReplyDeleteldc is lower cadre than bank clerk. bank clerk have a chance of becoming PO within 3 years. allahabad bank offering PO for their clerks even after 2 and half years. As ldc, urs is least post and chance of getting promotions is less. but it is a central govt job. i prefer allahabad clerk over ldc. u take the final decision & tell me ur opinion now.

SIR, I have done my graduation and did DCA( DIPLOMA IN C0MPUTER APPLICATIONS) and also TALLY LONG TERM COURSE. but the problem is that I have my DCA certificate but not the tally course certificate with me till now because it has not yet issued....so if I mention about tally then will it create any problem as I am not having its certificate???

no problem with tally certificate. it is not needed. opt for banks which are having more branches in those areas. as a po, u have to wrk any where in india, atleast once in ur entire career.

ReplyDeleteam not good at hindi. pls ask me in english from next time. without passing jaiib caiib also u r eligible for promotion. there is scarcity of staff in allahabad bank. even if u get promotion, it is not equivalent to po at all. u need 2 promotions to reach po status in that organisation. it will take 4 to 6 years for ur 1st promotion

ReplyDeleteur interview centre will be same as ur written exam centre. as the number of centers are many in online exam, they might conduct the interview at big city nearer to ur exam center if u opt small town for written exam.

ReplyDeleteadmin: A general query: I have heard many times that a PO needs to work anywhere in India for 2 years. After that he always remains in his home state for entire career. And one just circles from branch to branch in the home state every 3 years. Is it true? In that case the 2 years of outside posting would be the first 2 years of joining or as per your wish when u want? Becoz, I need my home state posting very badly as soon as possible.
