Hello guys, There is no change in cutoff marks in IBPS PO 2012 Revised Allotment result. I got a mail from IBPS Director informing that there will no change in cutoff marks. Only banks allotted to you might change. There is no reply regarding the date of result.
Here is Email conversation:
My Message to IBPS:
Dear sir,
I heard that cutoff will be changed and some candidates are going to lose jobs and some people will get jobs. Is that true? Please clarify this issue sir. We are very much upset and our families are also getting upset with this cancellation of result. Please post the reason atleast on website sir.
Sir, when we can expect the result?
Thank You Very Much for Reading..
Regards,
Radha Mohan Reddy P
Reply from IBPS:
Dear Candidate,
No change in Cut-off. All selected candidates may be given allotments afresh.
Director
Update:(17th March 10:06 AM) If anybody having doubt that why there is no change in cutoff, please read case 1 in this post: "Why IBPS PO 2012 Allotment Results Temporarily Suspended/ Kept in Abeyance". Some people asking me that how can director reply to me. Actually Director wont reply to our mails. Director will convey his ideas to his subordinates, they will reply to us. That's it.
So, Dont worry guys. Only banks allotted to you might change. This is good news for already selected candidates.
Iam really Sorry If I have created any hope for Non Selected candidates in 1st Allotment in my previous post with Case 2 Analysis.
So, Case 1 in My earlier post "Why IBPS PO 2012 Allotment Results Temporarily Suspended/ Kept in Abeyance" seems to be true.
Here is the image proof of Email:

Just want to ask this shall benefit GEN selected candidates interns of their preference consideration.?
ReplyDeletei also got the same email from ibps as a reply to my query, so every one who got alloted in first allotment be relaxed and wait for the results..
ReplyDeleteyes
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI belongs to poor family background I had worked hard and without coaching classes I appeared for CWE PO/MT-II Exam and Qualified with 131 marks. After that I appeared for Interview and Qualified the interview with Combined Score of 48.92% with SC Category. But on 13th March 13 I got an email saying that "Intimation for not successfully allotted any participating bank." I did not loose my heart.... But I ask you Is there any chance to get job? What about Second Round?
Reply Please....!!
SIR MERE 60.48 % HAIN IN GEN CATEGORY, IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY IN WAITING LIST,PLEASE ANSWER ME ADMIN,I M NOT EVEN GETTING ANY EMAIL...PLEASE ANS ME I AM VERY TENSED.........
ReplyDeletei also gat mail from ibps on my request
ReplyDeletethat is "NO NEW CUTT-OFF"
yah u will get a job in bank, but u hav to wait 4 it......
ReplyDeleteits 100% sure...
less chance. better prepare for next exam
ReplyDeletecoaching classes are needed for anyone. Practicing previous papers is enough if u really work hard. no chance in even in 2nd list. prepare for PO 2013 from now.
ReplyDeleteHiii Gyan me too frm sc cat and I appreciate ur hard working and fighting attitude.keep it dude,do not loose hope ,keep fighting,me too did not join any coaching class and this was my 2nd po exam and I made it .I have same fighting attitude tht u hav . I failed in ibps -1 by 1 mark in English .but did not stop thr and tried more & more to get my goal and i finally done it in this ibps-2.since u hav very less score u hav very less chance.i can say u hav no chance this time dude but make this failure as a strongest weapon 4 u to fight again.prepare gud for sbi po,sbi clerk, ibps po and all the best 4 ibps clerk interview..and if u will able to crack ibps po-3 den we will meet at uco bank.....all the best...
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteThanx a lot for giving the good news...

thank u so much '''admin...sir....'''
ReplyDeletefor ur valuable information...
sir, Is there any chance to get new bank in new Allotment?
ReplyDeleteany chance for 57.84 obc in waiting list
ReplyDeleteyes
ReplyDeleteThanks u so much admin
ReplyDeleteNow we feels relax after seeing your valuation information. Thanks so much admin
In Gen. Category my score is 61.40. Is there any chance for allotment ? Sir, Please reply.
ReplyDeleteIf the matter is only re-allotment afresh then why they are keeping every1 tensed?? At least this news they can put in their website to make the situation normal. Every time your attempt to explain anything went wrong and in the latter stage you rectified it. I think there is something else this time also.No doubt all previous selected candidates will get allotment now other wise the situation will be worst. But I still hope to provide a solution to BOB & PNB allotment problem some more general candidates will be hired.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS FOR GOOD NEWS SIR,MY SCORE IS 57.52 IN SC CAT.I WAS ALLOTED IN CBI WHICH WAS MY THIRD PRE.MY NEXT PRE IS UBI AND DENA,PNB WHICH WILL ALLOTED TO ME,ARE U SURE THERE IS NO HANGE IN CUT OFF
ReplyDeleteI think admin is fool. In new allotment general category candidates in top 11000, having high in merit than reserved candidates will replace them and if a reserved category candidate is unable to get bank of his/her preference from unreserved seats and if he can get the same bank from reserved category than obviously ibps will allot him that bank. In that case cut-off of general category will move down and reserved category cut-off will move up...
ReplyDeletei think admin is making u fool.....
hi,
ReplyDeletethis is syam i got 55.76 % in sc cat is there any chance of getting selection in second list?
Bro I wanna share with u all my story.I have passed out B.tech in 2009,didn't get any job till last year, but never loss hope.In that time I have also qualified for allhabad bank it officer, then ibps po-1.But didn't get through that. Finally secured a handsome job in one of the biggest pvt sector company for 40k per month. But I didn't join bcoz i have to join bank.finally bro got andhra bank this time in 1st allotment .
ReplyDeleteSo motto is that if u wanna achieve something go for it ,do not care what others are saying. All my relatives told me that rejecting one attractive job for PSU bank is not a good idea. But i still stuck to my point as money matters a very little to me in comparision to honour and pride that i will get as a bank manager .
785 more general seat are definitely going to be filled by general candidates as unreserved ones are not gonna get there 1st,2nd preference as ur candidates. So whats the point in "no change in cutoffs". It's baseless and illogical remarks by ibps.
ReplyDeleteThe reason behind why allotments were cancelled is there are more people who got job (even Less Marks) when compare to people who got (have high marks). This is also one of the reason.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Candidates fate wont get change until the 'evil' prevailing in our biggest democratic country fly away.......
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all general category guys .....God knows our fate.....
I really hate my luck!!!!
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteIn Gen Categ. my score is 61.04. Can I expect for allotment ? I shall be highly obliged for your reply.
POINTS TO BE COSIDERED FOR AVOIDING FURTHER COMPLICATIONS IN FINAL ALLOTMENT OF IBPS BANK PO/MT 2
ReplyDelete1.Additional weightage for Higher Educational qualification such as Post Graduation,MBA(Finance,Marketing),CA,ICWA,C.S etc should be given for betterment of banking industry in final allotment.
2.OBC/SC/ST Candidates scoring higher marks and allotted from General Category on the basis of their merit must get Banks according to their preferences given. But if OBC/SC/ST candidates have given preferences like PNB/BOB etc. but they may not get banks as per their liking from unreserved category while on the other side OBC/SC/ST candidates scoring lesser marks compared to above mentioned meritorious candidates of same category will get Top Banks like BOB/PNB/BOI etc.
This may result in injustice to meritorious candidates from OBC/ST/SC Candidates as if they have committed a mistake by scoring Higher Marks. To avoid further complication and injustice; these meritorious students should be asked about an option whether they want to get recruited from Unreserved Catagories by sacrificing a chance to get Top Banks or to get recruited through their own catagories to get their preferred banks.
3.Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Categories having scored total marks equivalent or more than required for General Category should also have scored section wise cut off marks i.e 24 Marks for each section and 135 Total marks.
sir i belong to cat sc,percentile 57.44,alloted bank ALLAHABAD BANK.what will be the result of next allotment. i will in or out from allotment.
ReplyDeleteDear Admin, What is the expected date of next allortment...
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeletewill there be any graduation criteria applied by the banks after allotment ?
for e.g. - suppose after a candidate has been allotted to a bank, she/he doesn't fill the the graduation % criteria of the bank . will her/his allotment be cancelled ?
Bro, i got less dan your marks i.e 127 in Sc category...but i work hard and given a very better interview so my combined score becomes 56.96 and i m alloted in BOM... And without any coaching class... Did graduation in BE dat too also widout coaching class... So my point is dat only hard works matter
ReplyDeleteDEAR ADMIN,
ReplyDeletePlease explain why there is "no change in cut-off".
As you told, if reserved candidates(obc/sc/st) were allotted unreserved vacancies. Then in the revised list, if those reserved candidates gets allotted in reserved vacancies according to their priority (may be few candidates). So, there is a chance that few reserved candidates(who are standing near the cut-off) may not be allotted in revised list.
Dear Admin
ReplyDeleteI got allotment in Andhra bank having 63.20% GEN should i go for clerk interview
yeah iam a big fool bcoz iam working for fools like u
ReplyDeleteNO change in cut-off is told by ibps , and if you think ibps is a fool....then i am helpless for you...
ReplyDeletemy percent is 64.2,general. can i get bank in ibps po fresh allotment.
ReplyDeleteIBPS TOLD THE REALLOTMENT Will BE DONE BY MARCH END IN A MAIL QUERY ASKED BY CANDIDATES.
ReplyDeletesir please tell who got allotment in 62.16 because i am very tensed sir
ReplyDeletegud mrng sir i belong obc cat n my tws is 59.12 n i got bom n my next pref is uco , cbi , dena which one alloted mee
ReplyDeleteI agree with u..bcoz written marks is also the part of allotment process..they should consider this thing also as there were lots of general candidate who got written score more than 170 but disqualify just bcoz they didn't fullfill the criteria of getting 24 marks in each section..it will be injustice wid those general candidates too if ibps will avoid this criteria at this stage..
ReplyDeletethen wt are the chances for a 61% scorer (general cat) in 2nd allotment..kindly reply.
ReplyDeletethanx
Sir. my combined score is 57.36 in general. Is there any chance in second round of allotment ?
ReplyDeleteRead this status on IBPS wesbite this morning:
ReplyDeleteCWE PO/MT-II: Allotment process for Public Sector Banks etc. against vacancies of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees (PO/MT) for 2013-14 has been completed. Each candidate is being intimated about his/her status at the email address and mobile number registered for CWE PO/MT-II
Does this implies that email and message notifications regarding allotment will come on monday(18 March 2013)?
IBPS wesbite link (http://www.ibps.in/html/CWE_PO_March_2012.htm) where above mentioned information is posted:
ReplyDeleteWhen u saw this post

ReplyDeleteDear admin when will the alottment come?please reply
ReplyDeleteHi Friends,
ReplyDeleteThis is to everyone who talks about reserved/ unreserved category. IBPS knows what's wrong and what's right if not Our Indian govt havent given such a big task to them. Better fighting between us wait for the results to come. Admin is right in his answer and as he says all his posting are based on analysis and case studies.
In the email reply, IBPS has said "All selected candidates may get allotment of banks afresh"
ReplyDeleteNow, selected candidates means the 47,000 candidates selected after the written+interview or the candidates to whom the banks were allotted in 1st allocation?
I think Director means the former.
And here cut-off means probably cut off of being selected after interview which was 40% in interview.......as they didn't revealed any cut-off officially for 1st allotment.
Admin any add-on??
Your r Right Optimus Prime[[Transformers]]
ReplyDeletethis is wat we can say a true analysis .....each word has been analysed and properly explained in the same way as lawyers do...gr8 work done......
ReplyDeleteno one knows the official cutoff coz it was not declared by ibps .....so it is easy to say{" there is no change in cutoff" as no one knows it officially........

sir i got 62.12 please tell me sir there is a chances in second list
ReplyDeletei am waiting your valuable reply
please carefully analyse it............ from (shishumit@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteOBSERVATIONS ON THE BASIS OF EXCEL RANK SHEET...........
1. as UR cutoff is 62.16 it means first 11985 students got allottment. within this rank 3017 OBC candidates lies.
2. as OBC cutoff is 58.36 it means candidates upto rank 25218 got alloted in OBC. number of OBC students between 11985 and 25218 is 4566.
3. there are 1038(VI,OC,HI) reserved seats out of which 27% must be allotted under OBC category it means 280 seats of OBC and 514 seats of UR is going to fill with these students.
Admin Sir,
ReplyDeleteplease let us know when would be the re allotment result will be declared because some people are giving information that they got a mail from ibps and the result would be declared in march end.
Breaking news
ReplyDeleteibps completed po allotment process result soon send to email id
Dear Admin!
ReplyDeleteSome candidates are saying that in reply to their call/email, IBPS said that the result will be declared in last week of March. Is it true? Please help!!!
Sammy .
ReplyDeletepls ask ur friends to provide the E-mail received from IBPS conforming that results will be declared in last week of March.
As they are not replying on the mails send by my frndz.
TOTAL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES =47000(approx)
ReplyDeleteGENERAL VACENCIES =11000 (approx)
OBC VACENCIES=6072
SC=3000
ST=400
THE PROCESS WILL BE THE TOP 11000 CANDIDATES WILL BE TREATED AS GENERAL WHETHER THE WILL GET ALLOTMENT IN BANKS EITHER IN GEN CATAGORY OR IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CATAGORY.
FOR EXAMPLE- IF A OBC CANDIDATE WITH 66% MARKS HAS GIVEN PREFERENCE AS BOB AS 1ST CHOICE BUT THAT BANK HE IS NOT GETTING IN GEN CATAGORY BUT IN OBC CATAGORY , THAN BOB WILL BE ALLOTED TO HIM FROM OBC CATAGORY BUT GENERAL VACANCY FROM LOWEST LIMIT WILL BE RESERVED FOR OBC. THIS MEANS THE MORE NO OF RESERVED CANDIDATES FROM GENERAL LIST WILL GET ALLOTMENT IN THEIR CATAGORIES TO GET THE BANK OF CHOICE THE SAME NO RESERVED CANDIDATES WILL BE TAKEN IN THE GENERAL LIST FROM BOTTOM OF GENERAL LIST.BUT FOR GENERAL CANDIDATES THE CUT OFF WILL AFTER DECLARED GENERAL VACENCIES ie AT 11000.
THIS SHOULD BE CLEAR TO ALL

ReplyDeleteI think the Meritorious Reserved Candidates (MRC) who exercises/uses benefit of reservation in getting their desired preference in allotment will adjusted to reserved category. The seat vacated by them will be available to next merit candidate from UR category.
ReplyDeleteThis is the judgement of five judge constitutional bench of supreme court of India in case of civil services exam. Here also exercising preference is similar to that of civil services examination.
Check the following link
http://courtnic.nic.in/supremecourt/temp/sc%2013571-1357208p.txt
In this go to point number 50 (Just before names of five judges) which sums up the whole judgement as follows:
50. We sum up our answers-:
i) MRC candidates who avail the benefit of Rule 16 (2) and adjusted in the reserved category should be counted as part of the reserved pool for the purpose of computing the aggregate reservation quotas. The seats vacated by MRC candidates in the General Pool will be offered to General category candidates.
ii) By operation of Rule 16 (2), the reserved status of an MRC candidate is protected so that his/ her better performance does not deny him of the chance to be allotted to a more preferred service.
iii) The amended Rule 16 (2) only seeks to recognize the inter se merit between two classes of candidates i.e. a) meritorious reserved category candidates b) relatively lower ranked reserved category candidates, for the purpose of allocation to the various Civil Services with due regard for the preferences indicated by them.
iv) The reserved category candidates “belonging to OBC, SC/ ST categories” who are selected on merit and placed in the list of General/Unreserved category candidates can choose to migrate to the respective reserved category at the time of allocation of services. Such migration as envisaged by Rule 16 (2) is not inconsistent with Rule 16 (1) or Articles 14, 16 (4) and 335 of the Constitution.
