ReplyDeleteI am not working in Banks in India but working for USA Banks in India. I have already done lots of analysis behind Indian Banks and their culture.
ReplyDeleteI think i should select bank which are the good performer in last year. Don't go for only banks which is having more vacancies (ex. Indian Overseas Bank is having highest vacancies but it failed to perform last year and got down by 4.7% ) and also consider banks individual rules for selection like some bank are very particular about computer certification like Central bank of India -
As per my analysis if you want more relax than go for -
Vijaya Bank, Dena Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Central Bank of India
If you really want to work than go for
BOB, Allahabad Bank, UCO, Union Bank
Performance wise if you want personal growth -
IDBI, Bank of Maharastra, Syndicate Bank, Punjab National Bank
Not a good performer last year -
Indian Overseas Bank
and also don't give higher priority to Canara Bank and Bank of India if you want future growth as well as cool life.
Best of Luck to ALL of you...
good information. Thanks for ur comment

ReplyDeleteSIR...i am working as assistant in sbi from the last 4months...now i got selected in ibps po in oriental bank of commerce..!!sir..plz guide me should i join this bank ...is dis bnk is good??i am from patiala..i have heared from many people dat this bank has many branches in our state and normally dis bak give posting to girls to nearby station or in their hometown..??also plz.tel me the training procedure of dis bank...??and one main thing also sir (((..u have mentioned the pay scale of po..i just wnt 2 knw what approx. increase is their in salary after revision ??)))
ReplyDeleteit will be better for u to stay in SBI . than PO in OBC cause there is much growth in SBI . n u will get even higher salary if u get promoted 2 po. nu will get promoted in sbi in next 2 - 3 yr. there will be a exam for the promotion which is much easier than facing competition. and many bankers are giving exam to get sbi. and want to leave other PSU banks. so i will suggest u to stay there , n yake promotion by giving internal exams.
