    Guys.. You should know that you all have the opportunity to attend the common interview to be conducted by IBPS in 3-4 months.. Your interview marks will be added to your total weighted score and then a list of all the candidates who also passed the interview will be announced.

    Once you pass the interview, you will be asked to name any 3 banks that you like to work with. You will be called to work in any one bank out of the 3 you selected provided the bank has vacancies. If you reject the offer, you lose the opportunity and the person behind you in the list gets the opportunity.

    Out of 20 banks, there should be atleast 20,000-25,000 vacancies available this year.. If you come up the rank in the list, you have a good opportunity to work in banking sector.

    Now, You have listed your mark as 136 general.. Since 135 is the cutoff and I have already heard a lot of people who have scored more than 170 general, chances for you to get the job is less.. The first mark should be around 200.. So if your mark is above 160 and you attend good in the coming interview, I'll say you have a chance. But that doesn't mean that candidates below 160 doesn't have a chance. Just hope for the best and attend the interview with confidence. Cheers.. :)

    I think 150 to 170 range is good score since paper is a bit tough then po 1(one) and last time cut off was 160+ and more qualified around 1 lakh and now 60,000 so chance will be better for 150+ all the best

    See buddy, i don't want to depress anybody but all the persons below 160 marks are having very less chances.

    I have got 175 marks in this second one and still not sure of any call.

    I was having 158 marks last year, and you know the irony till now the lowest cutoff for any bank is 159 for interview only -- means i was not even called for interview (only 1 was having less than this for which i was not interested)

    Should not say but these banks are making money out of this process and candidates are not getting anything.

    Fingers crossed, lets see what happens

    Yes definitely u will get chance for selecting in bank, reasons are:-
    1-tuffest paper in banking history.

    2-last yr no. of qualified candidate was approx 111000
    but this yr only 60k.

    3-60% criteria will reduce number of eligible candidates .

    R u guys sure about common interview???i don't think so...bcz it's not a short process..if it happens it will take minimum 3-4 months to complete upto the final merit list....so if they start it rit from today,it will be completing in jan or fab....and far as ur consern ibps has already declaired that banks will start recruiting from 1-1-2013.....hope that i ill be wrong...bcs i m also with common interview....

    you will not get interview chance if individual bank interviews happen. if common interview happen, u will get interview. but final selection chances are very low. u better prepare for next exam.

    common interview talking everywhere now a days is real panacia for lower, lowest and hanging fire scorecardholders.i got 162 general category candidate but it is a marks of hanging fire . above 175 is good one but not the best. banks search best one. so good luck to you and our society who r eageresly waiting for common interview that definetly will decide who is the best one.

    hello friends ,
    congratulate to all the qualified candidates and i am 100% sure that all the passed candidates should that called for the common interviews but this is poor for the candidates who score higher and good as chance of getting interview after getting low marks in the po2 so all are averagely satisfied .
    i am scored 160 in general and got the call for interview but not sure abour final selection . hope for the best i got 32 in reasoning ,mathematics and english descripeive, and 30 in english main, 29 in computer and 36 in gk and overall 160 and i am upset because i do not do descriptive paper with my original efficiancy and also mathematics.but i think
    all face same problem because the level was tuff no its very tuff.

    friends can anyone tell me about rank what we get in the country because i think that was a essential need.
    congatulate all and those who got less i advice them that dont lose hope and prepared for the interview with your original efficiacny.{as one frienf mention that got 178 but do not attempt describitve so prepare}

    no..175 is good score. no need to worry with ur score. u have all the chances to become PO. 200 scorers are very few. just leave them and try to compete with 180 scorers.

    Hi Deepak.Congrats for ur extaordinary performance.I hv become ur fan.You surely have the potential to just not bacome a bank po but to reach to one of the top positions in the banking sector.Ur IQ level is surely quite above average.
    I come from a non maths background and barely managed to pass in quant and reasoning sections with scores of 24 in each and so my total TWSS is just 169(with 45 in eng.,45 in GK,36 in comp. and 34 in descriptive). i belong to gen. category.wat do u think r my chances of being called for interview and of final selection? and do u have any idea dat when sore range be published?Thanks.

    if you have good % in graduation, you will have 1st impression as good impression. but interview marks will not be awarded based on it. even u less percentage, if u answer all the questions with out fear and doubt, they will award u full marks. interview marks based on ur behavior, way of communication with interviewer and how well u can answer their questions.

    188 is out of 300. 153 out 250. u have to half the marks in eng and descriptive test as these sections are only for 25 marks each. your score is 153 only but not 188.

    u have chance if u perform well in interview. don't mind about 200 scorers. there are very few of those. it is better to ignore them. compete for remaining posts. there might be around 40 members around but the number vacancies are not 40. there are more than 20k posts. don't lose hope. prepare for interview.
