As we all know, IBPS released the TWS score of all the candidates who appeared for IBPS PO 2012 CWE Exam held on 17th June 2012. I already informed the cutoff marks for IBPS PO 2012 on Total TWS score. Many of you writing comments about your chance of getting score for the TWS score you got in IBPS PO 2012 results.
I was not able to answer all the candidates individually. So, i decided to write a post on your chances of getting interview. Here are my views on the possibility of getting interview and final selection. (Please read the post completely)
Chances of getting interview and Final selection in IBPS PO 2012 for the TWS score:

Note: This my personal view and there is no guaranty. Marks may increase or decrease based on the performance in interview by you. It is also depends on number of vacancies. I will revise this list once IBPS release the real score range of the candidates. IBPS didn't confirmed the news of Common interview in the result status page. If IBPS conduct common interview, all the passed candidates will get interview chance as there only 61k candidates passed the exam. This post is not to demotivate anyone. If common interview come into play from now itself, you are all lucky people. All of you will get interview. I also considered the results of Poll held on our site. Thanks for participating. ReplyDeletesir i got 163 but got disqualified in dp for 4 marks is there any provision by ibps towards such candidates b'coz there are many of my friends in such category some got even higher than 170 but failed to attend dp with 22 marks
ReplyDeletethere is no 2nd chance. it is really sad moment for those candidates with marks but failed in dp. i heard that one guy with above 200 marks failed in dp.

ReplyDeleteU have to calculate the half weightage of marks in english as well as discriptive paper(weightage is out of 25)...then u calculate your TWS score, and u will find your TWS score will be 117..so it is correct score..dont Mind..No need to send mails to IBPS.

Last year, in IBPS PO1 , 15 persons were having marks exceeding 200, as par the rangewise data released by IBPS....So, its completely not feasible that more people having marks in 200+ range, looking at the paper level, as well as the fact that about 50k less candidates were passes...
ReplyDeleteyeah, you are correct. But the range between 130 to 180 will be true. That is the main thing we need. No need to think about above 200 people.

ReplyDeleteThose who are in dilemma of "COMMON INTERVIEW", for them I would like to say that this time(CWE PO-II) chances are very less that IBPS will conduct common interview. As they haven't mentioned about common interview in CWE PO-II advertisement. But for CWE Clerk-II, they have properly mentioned about common interview and the process of recruitment after it. I know it would be heartbreaking for many candidates including me as well but we should admit the fact and should focus on forthcoming exams. Best of luck guys for your future exams.

ReplyDeleteyaar if sm1 dnt know or every1 knows people from bihar,orissa,chandigarh,chattisgarh score top and always gets selected in govt.jobs although there cities lack in literacy and knowledge rate.some of the people i have seen even dont know English although they got 90 to 95 % marks.how come they top so much without knowing the a,b,c,d's...even the literacy state Kerala and Tamil Nadu fails.just think friends.

ReplyDeletethanks for the link man...so its confirm that ibps po 2 qualified students will go thru common interviews ...thats a big relief actually for the candidates like me who have got a bit less marks....i hv got 165 marks general category...now i can hope of getting selected...if we see previous years results...about 9000 aspirants got more than 165 marks...if i m nt wrong this year that number will be less as the exam was way tough than that of last years exam.

ReplyDeleteI am ajith, 2009 passout btech graduate in ECE.I had only one year experince(not in banking field). There was a 2yr gap for me, now i have got 159 marks in ibps po. If the interviewer asked why for a bank job instead of engg related fields and what about the 2yr gap. how will i answer to these questions and please anybody tell the best answers.

also Career marks has given any importance regarding selection. Last time many banks select those have 60% marks in graduation.

hello deepak u r absolutely right when u said qa is only paper in which shortcuts r applied and by doing this we can save time. so deepak dont mind but u can help many many aspirants if u wish for the same. i m also strong in quantitative aptitude but i managed to do arround 35 questions only. so u r great bhai as u said u were attended 48 qa questions . can u please give some valuable shortcut tips for quantitative aptitude to my e-mail id .

ReplyDeleterespected sir,as i have earlier mentioned also dat i score 184 marks in po2012.regarding interview,sir i want to know how should i start preparing...do i have to read any magzine,(can u sugggest som gud magzines for dis if ny)or i have to join some institute ...??sir, one thing more how much i hav to score for interview out of 50 to be get selected>(.regarding my qualification i hav done BBA with 60% and MFC(masters in finance and control) with 74%).i am also waiting for the sbi clerical interview result which i have given on 6 th of sept.sir how much i have to wait for this result also??

helo mam..thnx alot nd same here evn m waitng for d interview result of sbi dat was held on 6th of sept for chandigarh region..not for selection bt 2 c d score if thy provide... u hve got a very nice score...no need of any buks for interviews...interview as far as i knw thr vl b a simple hr interview..nd few questions frm current affairs nd banking...for dat i guess u have prepared in exam also also... evn english speaking is also not dat imptnt...wht matters more is ur confidence while replyng 2 d panel...ur score is very gud so no doubt abt ur selection... from whch region u appeared for sbi interview? at d tym of intervew thy told dat in october joings vl cum bt as always sbi is sbi ...result was declared so early for writn exam dat was a shock... bt nw thy taking much tym in intervw results... also d seats were increased so ur chances for clearing dat also is high... all d very best

ReplyDelete141 is correct score. u have to half the marks u got in eng and descriptive sections.
