Applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS (Part-I & II) examination in first or second attempt and completed internship for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final MBBS (Part I& II) Examination are not eligible to apply.

VACANCIES: 400 (Four Hundred)

QUALIFICATION: The applicant must possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Post graduate degree/ diploma holders e.g. MD/MS/MCh/DM/DNB/DLO/DOMS/DA may also apply.

Note: Only those candidates who have completed/will be completing their internship on or before 31 Mar 2015 need to apply.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has announced Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET – 2015) for admission into UG Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses for academic year 2015-16. Candidates from all over the country can appear for the said entrance examination.

Eligibility: For UG Medical, Dental courses: The candidates should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government with English as a compulsory subject.  The General Merit candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2015. How to apply: Candidates can apply online.
