COMEDK UGET - 2015 For Admissions To MBBS, BDS, B.Tech. Notification @ Karnataka State

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has announced Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET – 2015) for admission into UG Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses for academic year 2015-16. Candidates from all over the country can appear for the said entrance examination.

Eligibility: For UG Medical, Dental courses: The candidates should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government with English as a compulsory subject.  The General Merit candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2015. How to apply: Candidates can apply online. Registration fee: Rs.1200 (for Engineering or Medical courses)  Rs.1500 (for both Engineering and Medical courses) Filled in application along with necessary documents must be reached to The Executive Secretary, COMEDK No.132, Second Floor, 11th Main, 17th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore - 560 055. Selection process: For UG Medical, Dental courses: The General Merit candidates must secure not less than 50% marks (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka) in aggregate in PCB subjects in the COMEDK UG entrance test 2015. English is one of the subjects, as in the previous years, to be tested along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology during COMEDK UGET – 2015. The General Merit candidates should secure not less than 50% marks in English (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka). For Engineering courses: An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list. For Architecture: The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.
