NABARD Officers Grade A & B Recruitment Notification 2013 Download

NABARD (National Bank For Agriculture and Rural Development) has issued notification for Recruitment of Officer Grade A Grade B posts. Online application registration starts from 23-09-2013 and last date is 14-10-2013. For more details please check the below details.

RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan Hikes Repo Rate to 7.50% & Reduces MSF to9.5%

Mr. Raghuram Rajan, the new RBI Governor, in his maiden policy review on Friday, hiked the repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.50%. The repo rate is increased to 7.5% from 7.25% with immediate effect. The repo rate is the rate at which banks borrow from the central bank.The move will have consequential effect down the line in the form of rise in interest rates for retail borrowers. This is a step to control inflation.

RBI reduced the marginal standing facility rate by 75 basis points to 9.5% from 10.25% with immediate efffect to tighten liquidity and arrest volatility in the foreign exchange market.

The new Governor, however, withdrew some emergency measures put in place by his predecessor to arrest the rupee slide against the dollar.

RBI reduced minimum daily maintenance of the cash reserve ratio from 99% of the requirement to 95%. There is no change in CRR. All other key rates remains unchanged.

Roll Numbers of Candidates shortlisted for appearing in Phase-II Written Examination (Descriptive Type – 3 Papers) for the posts of Officer in Grade ‘B’ (General) – (Direct Recruitment - DR) - for which ON-LINE examination was held on August 17, 24 and 25, 2013.

RBI Grade B Officer Phase 2 Written Exam 2013 time table (i.e. Date and time) shall be uploaded shortly. These shortlisted candidates shall be allotted new Roll Numbers for further recruitment process. The new Roll numbers will be different from their Phase-I examination.

SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier - I Examination, 2013 was held on 21 - 04 - 2013 & 19 - 05 - 2013
at various centers. As per information available with the Commission, 12,12,429 candidates appeared in this examination. SSC CGL Exam 2013 Tier 1 Cutoff marks is as follows:



SSC CGL 2013 Tier 1 Cutoff marks were increased compare to previous year cutoff marks. This means competition for SSC exams is increasing year on year.

SSC FCI Assistant Grade 3 Written Exam 2013 Results Declared

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted written exam for Food Corporation of India (FCI) Assistant Grade 3 Written exam 2013 in April 2013. SSC conducted Paper 2 and Paper 3 written examination for Combined Recruitment for Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres in FCI, 2013 on 07.04.2013 at various centres all over the country. 61,758 candidates in Paper 2 and 33,478 candidates in Paper 3 actually appeared in this examination.

Candidates provisionally qualified for appearing in Computer Proficiency Test in the Combined Recruitment for Assistant Grade III (General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres) in the FCI, 2013. Computer Proficiency Test is likely to commence in the first week of October, 2013 and detailed program will be placed on the websites of respective Regional Offices. Candidates are requested to watch the websites of concerned Regional Offices of the Commission for detailed
schedule of the Computer Proficiency Test and issue of admit cards. Qualified eligible candidates who do not receive the Admission Ticket for Computer Proficiency Test 7 days before the commencement of the said Test should immediately contact the respective Regional Office of the Commission.

Marks of qualified and non - qualified candidates and list of candidates awarded ‘Zero’ marks in paper 2 & 3 will be placed on the Commission’s website shortly.

I have prepared some Gendderal English Language material for upcoming IBPS Bank exams 2013 - 14 and all other competitive exams like SSC. This material is collected from various sources (not copied from other websites) and posting the useful material for our readers. I am starting with Correction of sentences, usually we call it as error finding in bank exams.

Directions (Q.1-7): Read each sentence to find out whether there is any error in it. The error, if any, will be in one part of the sentence. The number of that part is the sentence. The number of that part is the answer. If there is no error, the answer is 5.
